Our History
The change of the Johanneshof.
Our history begins in the ‘70s, when the first “strangers” discovered the Antholz for themselves. In those days, it was the summer freshness that first brought the guests to the valley, and then they also discovered the winter season.
In 1971, our parents, Trude and Ando, decided to build a little guest house with a few guest beds in the heart of the valley "Antholzertal" at the valley station of the skiing area Riepenlift.
Over the following years, the sons, Markus and Johannes, began to contribute in the family business. Markus and Trude were hard working in the kitchen to prepare the best food for the guests, while Johannes and Ando served and entertained the guests.
2005 was a moving year. Johannes and Manuela, decided to rebuild the Riepenlift guest house and to make the cozy Berghotel Johanneshof.
Over the following years, we tried always to improve our service and our guests can every year look forward to new delights in the Berghotel Johanneshof.
